Dragonfly Release Takes Flight…
Jeff Phillips, was one of only two male therapists who graduated from a class of forty three students in June, having completed a 2200 hour massage therapy program with the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). At the recent graduation ceremony, as well as collecting his Diploma in Massage, Jeff was the proud recipient of an award from the Massage Therapists’ and Wholistic
Practitioners’ Association of the Maritimes (MTWPAM). The award is presented to the CCMH student who best exemplifies the combination of the science as well as the art of massage, therefore embodying the qualities of a Wholistic Therapist.
“I was honoured to have been selected to receive this award, which recognizes the diversity of our chosen profession and, in particular, reminds students that they can gain more for themselves and their prospective clients by delivering wholistic health care”.
Jeff is an intuitive healer and a fully qualified Reiki Master/Teacher. Originally from a small town in South Wales, U.K. and worked within the civil service there for over 25 years. 2008 saw Jeff looking for a fresh start and taking early retirement to go back
to school. Some may think that’s a big move in itself but not content with that he elected to emigrate to Nova Scotia in Canada to find the right learning environment, joining the CCMH, with the goal of adding massage therapy to his practice.
“For me, massage therapy was a natural choice to link with the Reiki healing and training I was already offering. Reiki is a simple system developed to promote self-healing and massage is a wonderful complementary healing experience with both disciplines promoting self awareness of your body’s need for balance.”
Jeff is now accepting new clients for both Reiki and massage treatments, including Jade Stone massage, at Dragonfly Release Holistic Centre. He can be contacted via the website www.dragonflyrelease.com , e-mail to email@example.com Dragonfly Release also provides a relaxing space for clients to enjoy before or after their treatment, allowing them to relax knowing they are not going to be bothered by the telephone or all the other demands and bustle of daily life.
“We invite you to join us and make your time with us an experience that you want to repeat again and again. Be it relaxation, “me” time or a relief from strains and pains, we will do our best to help you back on the road to recovery and balance”.
Jeff is also available to speak at your group about Reiki. He will share his vision of what Reiki is and what Reiki isn’t. He’ll give you an overview of what Reiki can do for you and how you can incorporate it into your everyday life. Talks normally take no more than 30 minutes with additional time for questions and demonstration if required.
